Level 3: HighViz Employment Accelerator™
Employer demand first. Employment progression next.
The HighViz Employment Accelerator™ is an intensive employer-led intervention shaped around genuine vacancies. It combines candidate preparation, work readiness, relevant accredited training, practical barrier removal, employer engagement and structured progression support. Qualifications, preparation and practical support are selected according to the sector, the participants and the vacancies being targeted.
From workforce requirement to follow up
The Accelerator Journey
Every Accelerator is shaped around genuine workforce demand wherever possible. Employers retain complete control over applications, interviews and recruitment decisions. Funding, candidate availability, interviews and employment outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Employer Demand
We identify genuine vacancies, anticipated workforce requirements and the employer's essential requirements.
Candidate Identification
Suitable participants are identified with commissioning and employability partners, taking account of interest, readiness, location and personal circumstances.
Work Readiness
Participants receive preparation appropriate to the roles being targeted, including employer expectations, working arrangements, confidence and interview preparation.
Relevant Training
Training and qualifications are selected according to the sector, role and employer requirements.
Practical Barrier Removal
Relevant barriers are identified and addressed where this forms part of the funded programme. The support provided will depend on the role and agreed programme.
Employer Engagement
Participants receive appropriate information about the employer, workplace, vacancies and recruitment process.
Interview or Work Opportunity
Suitable participants may be considered for an interview, work trial or relevant opportunity where availability and employer requirements align.
Employment Progression
Where an opportunity is secured, the programme supports a confident transition into work.
Follow Up and Reporting
HighViz Training provides agreed progression follow up and reporting for commissioners, employers and participants.
What Commissioners Receive
What Commissioners Receive
The Accelerator is a complete employer-led commissioned programme — not a single course. Delivery is shaped around employer demand, participant needs and the agreed scope of each cohort.
Initial diagnostic assessment and participant readiness
Individual action planning
Role-appropriate work readiness and preparation
Relevant accredited training agreed for the sector and opportunity
Practical barrier removal where included in the commissioned programme
Employer information and engagement
Interview preparation
Agreed follow-up support and progression reporting
Community benefit support where eligible
Construction specific cohorts may also include CITB preparation, CSCS administration and appropriate PPE. Hospitality and other sector cohorts will include preparation and training relevant to their particular roles.
Established Sector Specialism
HighViz Construction Employment Accelerator™
Our established sector specific Accelerator prepares suitable participants for genuine construction opportunities. Depending on the roles and commissioned programme, this may include REHIS health and safety training, CITB preparation and testing, CSCS card administration, work readiness, employer engagement and appropriate PPE.
Growing Employer Led Pathway
HighViz Hospitality Employment Accelerator™
Our hospitality Accelerator can be shaped around genuine entry-level vacancies in hotels, restaurants, catering and related hospitality businesses. Preparation is selected according to the employer, location and roles being targeted.
Hospitality candidates are not associated with CSCS cards, CITB testing or construction PPE.
HighViz Work Ready™ PPE Starter Box
The HighViz Work Ready™ PPE Starter Box
Every participant who achieves HighViz Work Ready™ status through a funded Construction Accelerator cohort receives the HighViz Work Ready™ PPE Starter Box.
The box is designed to remove the financial and practical barrier of sourcing initial PPE for funded construction cohort participants who achieve HighViz Work Ready™ status.
Final PPE requirements remain subject to the employer, role and individual site.
